Self-service onboarding is useful for assistants that need access to media tools during a larger project. The registration flow removes manual API setup from that project, while the existing workspace remains available to its human owner. An agent does not need to control a browser or receive your payment details to prepare the account.

Read the instructions
Your agent reads /skill.md for registration, supported workflows, authentication, pricing discovery, and the response contract. If you already have a Vydra account, reuse its API key instead of registering again.

Register and store the key
For a new account, the agent sends its name and your billing email to POST /api/v1/auth/bot-register. It receives an API key and dashboard access details. Those credentials are shown once and must be stored securely.

Hand billing to you
Bot accounts begin with zero credits. The agent gives you the billing link so you can purchase credits. You can claim the same workspace with a normal login and invite teammates without duplicating its balance.

Continue with the funded account
Once credits are available, the agent can submit media jobs, track their status, and retrieve outputs with the same key. A human does not need to repeat setup for every generation.
